It is with sadness that we announce that, after 30 years, Sian has moved on from Teachers HA. Sian has been a key member of g320 and BM320 from their very inception and indeed we have used Teachers' office for many of these meetings over the years. Sian was always supportive of g320 and she always ensured we had the good biscuits!
Karen, our Chair, says, "I remember the days before g320 was called that (we had a very long boring name) and Sian and I would often put the world to rights after these get-togethers. Sian was always kind, supportive, sensible, with buckets of integrity and commitment to social housing. I personally loved working with her on various projects and I always respected her opinions and sage advice. However, most of all she was always good humoured and I will miss some of our (occasionally childish) humour during certain meetings.
I know that many of us enjoyed working with Sian immensely and admired her work ethic, commitment, vast knowledge and the fact that tenants and staff were always her priorities. In the words of one of our peers, 'She never made it about herself, always others'."
Sian will be missed as a regular attendee at our meetings but hopefully we will see her all again soon, albeit with a different hat on!
